Although we allow Preschool new starters to bring teddies with them for the first few weeks to help the children feel more secure and to settle quicker. Can we please remind parents that children, especially those in the morning class, should not be bringing toys or teddies with them to Preschool.
Although we do not want children to feel upset, we would appreciate it if parents could encourage their children to leave their toys at home. There is very little room for us to store 20 large teddies, and we would hate for favorite toys to get broken or go missing at school.
On occasion we do have special days when children are encouraged to bring their toys for a teddy bear picnic etc, but we would always send a note home in advance to make parents aware of this.
We thank you in advance for your support in this matter, and if you would like to discuss this with a member of staff then please feel free to do so.
